Well, it doesn’t start with a K, after all! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their newborn daughter … North West, according to multiple reports.
Us Weekly and E! report that the little one will be nicknamed “Nori.” The unique name was originally reported during her pregnancy, but Kim denied it at the time and even joked to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that the name would instead be East West.
TMZ was the first to report little North West’s name on Thursday, as per the birth certificate at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was born on June 15. When Kim’s step-brother Brody Jenner called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest, he revealed he did not know the child’s name and even joked that he didn’t want to just yet because it was too much “responsibility.” ‘
